The creator of this flash game first made 3D models in the appropriate program, after which he made time-lapse screenshots with a moving camera. Then he loaded the screenshots into the Flash Player and combined them into animations to simulate three-dimensional space.

Yeah, in 2005 it was necessary to work hard enough to make a pseudo 3D game on a platform that did not have the necessary technologies.
